We are regularly asked to complete Immediate Needs Assessments within the initial stages following injury. We recognise our responsibilities under the Rehabilitation Code and when under Joint Instruction will ensure that reports are disclosed promptly to both parties involved.
- The aim of the code is to promote the use of rehabilitation and early intervention in the compensation process so that the injured person makes the best and quickest medical, social and psychological recovery.
- This code provides a framework within which the Claimant’s lawyers and compensator can work together to ensure the Claimant is assessed at an early stage.
The assessment will outline the injuries sustained, current disability or loss of function, intervention, likely costs and how it will impact the future of the Claimant.
We are often asked to then put our recommendations into practice by adopting the role of Case Manager
